Hi Paul and Courtney
Thank you for your reply and certainly for your support. Your wife is right in the sense that it is men like you that make a difference! Being understanding and respectful of women is a great trait to have and something to be proud of. Thank you for your kind words. It really does mean a lot to me to read you comment. Cheers MH
How funny, my daughter is Melissa Hobbs too and a photographer. I was surprised and excited and then I realized you are different Melissa. Nonetheless I am equally impressed and proud of your work. Very tasteful!
Thank you so much Sally. Isn’t it funny that your daughter and I have the same name and we are both photographers. Good luck to her as well. Cheers MH
I loved the interview, very inspiring and uplifting. I have always wanted to be a photographer but was too scared to follow my dream but after reading this interview tonight I am now on google looking for courses and I am going to follow through and make my passion my career. Thank you Melissa, you are an inspiration.

Thank you Stephanie
I hope you do follow through with your course. I would have loved to have studied in NYC! It is such a beautiful city. If you like you can email me. I’m happy to answer any questions you might have about photography in general and I would love to chat about NCY with you. Good luck with everything! Cheers MH
WOW, what amazing photos!!!!!!!!!!!!!! flawless and breathtaking, love your work Mel.
Trent from Bundoora
Thanks Trent for your lovely reply. Cheers MH
My first reaction was “Why would a woman be a talent on this webwsite?” then I stopped and gave it a second thought. What gives me the right to think a woman cannot be on this website and what if this was my wife, mother or daughter? Would I not be happy for them as I would be for my brother or son?
I also realized that your magazine is about men and everything to do with their lives and for sure women are a very important part of my life. I instantly shared my stupid first thought with my wife and apologized that I even thought the way I did. She said right back to me “Paul, it is men like you who make the difference, who understand, realize and appreciate what women are in a men’s life and I am proud that you questioned your own thought.”
Ok enough of blabber but seriously Melissa sounds a very successful, confident and professional and I am very glad to have bumped into this article and thank you for sharing. Melissa, you have my apologies and you have my best wishes and I look forward to your work more and more! You Go Mel!!!
