2. Your sensitive information – watch what you share!

We recommend the user of nick/usernames instead of your actual names to protect your privacy. When subscribing you may be required to give your full and real details which are stored in accordance to our Privacy Policy, but you are also given an option to use a public nick name which is recommended to be different from your real name.

During registration you will be required to provide First and Last name, Address, Email, Contact Number (in some cases). Should you fail to provide accurate information it will be considered an automatic failure to follow the terms and conditions.

Offensive and explicit usernames will be removed at first detection without any explanation from www.theurbanmen.com . Your real names and email address will never be displayed publicly unless otherwise specified by you.

3. Law comes first, illegal is intolerable – PERIOD!

We will not allow, accept, tolerate or support any form of illegal activities in any section of our website. You must respect and adhere to the law of the land and authorities within your country and beyond. We will remove any content found to be illegal. www.theurbanmen.com is not responsible for any use of any comments and content you post and does not allow any malicious content including but not limited to comments, graphics, voice, video, multimedia, software, spamware and other activities that may be considered disruptive, illegal or offensive.

4. No Solicitation, No Junk Mailing, No Spamming – No No No!

We do not authorize you to solicit commercial benefits, illegal activities and/or alliances, and/or spamming any others users or the website itself. Irrelevant, illegal and unacceptable postings will be removed at first detection. It is considered a serious violation to solicit and/or spam and any such activity is not condoned by www.theurbanmen.com. Depending on the nature and seriousness of unacceptable content/activity we reserve the right to give you a final warning, ban you or report you to authorities as appropriate within the law.

We do not and will not tolerate any argumentative, derogatory or hurtful remarks regarding companies or individuals. Any such remarks should be sent directly to the company or individual concerned and not posted on this forum. Any such remark deemed unacceptable will be edited or deleted without prior notification. Any links posted by a user are responsibility of that user and www.theurbanmen.com is not responsible for them. During periodic moderation any offensive comments/content/links will be removed without explanation.

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

If we use content from another individual and/or company, we will always ensure to obtain permission and where you use our content, we require you to obtain our permission. Unauthorised use of our content is not permissible. Any content on our website may not be reproduced, distributed, transmitted, cached or otherwise used, except with the prior written permission of www.theurbanmen.com. This clause includes (but is not limited to) moderator private messages, forum threads, posts, recipes, articles and user comments.
