Super Storm Sandy | Community
Final Update: Tuesday, 30 October 2012, 23:26:09 EDT
The worst of the Super Storm Sandy has passed, the aftermath is huge and snow storms continue. The real and complete data about the affects may take days to come and the restoration of services to a hundred percent may take from a few days to just above a week. At this moment the official death toll is at 33 and search and rescue remains on for any possible casualities and/or injured people out there in the Super Storm Sandy stricken areas.
3S1, Incorporated team wishes everyone strength and courage to deal with this tough time and we know as always Americans will stand united, and stand back on their feet in no time. We urge you to please keep following the directions of authorities very seriously and do not return or take chances unless it is declared OKAY to do so. The worst is over, but times ahead will be difficult in a few ways but together the community will be stronger again in no time.

America’s east coast has been ripped off and devastated by Super Storm Sandy, and the resulting floods have turned the towns into eerie sites of flood, destruction and now even some places on fire. So far 13 have been confirmed dead and more than 6.5 million customers are without electricity across 13 states. First Responders are already in action, but the floods, wind gust and snowstorm are not making things any easier.
Super Storm Sandy is the biggest weather system ever to hit United States mainland in history reaching up to 90mph wind gusts and brought cities after cities to a standstill and the public transports is almost entirely underwater and unreachable and may remain so for days to come.
- Much of the state of New Jersey was went under water well before Sandy could even make the landfall and cars everywhere were covered with high waters up to the bonnets if not higher.
- In Delaware the boardwalks were compromised and storm surge has been severe and the waves have been very high, but the boardwalks remained strong and damage has been comparatively minor or better stated as less damaging.
- Overall almost 90 billion worth property is in the direct path of Super Storm Sandy and remains at high risk and already the damage is expected to be in 100s of millions.
- More than 350,000 New York residents have been evacuated from the low lying areas and it is clear this was the best step to take as New York remains submerged in over 14 feet for water.
- Some Nuclear Power Plants are in the path of the storm and already inspectors have been dispatched
Current States affected by Super Storm Sandy:
Connecticut | Delaware | District of Columbia | Maryland | New Jersey | New York | North Carolina | Pennsylvania | Rhode Island | Virginia | West Virginia
The disruption and destruction is truly epic with the damage that is already visible and the aftermath is yet far from being estimated. At this stage President Barack Obama has abandoned the campaign to spearhead the response activities as well as has declared emergency in at least 6 states. President Obama said he was “not worried” about how this may affect the outcome of elections on 06th November 2012 but “I’m worried about the impact on families and I’m worried about the impact on our first responders,”

The New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg candidly warned: “Leave immediately. Conditions are deteriorating very rapidly, and the window for you getting out safely is closing. This is a storm that can easily kill you.” At this stage all three New York airports are closed and over 13,000 flights have been cancelled.
We’ll keep this post up to date as we receive the news. Anyone around the Sandy affected areas can give ANY update, it will be highly appreciated. We are keeping an eye on the news as well, but any first hand reports will be much appreciated.

Looking to make a change in your career?
Feel confused and lost about your love life?
Unsure where
your current relationship is going?
Know what needs to be different but not sure how to get from here to there?
You need someone to help you find the right path, to keep you accountable, and to cheer you on to victory!

You need a life coach!
-
How is a life coach different than a therapist or social worker?
A therapist or social worker focuses most often on past issues, and dealing with personal problems that need to be analyzed and solved. The life coach, on the other hand, is a mentor or guide. Coaches focus on the manifestation of one’s future vision with the potential to make those dreams come alive now with accountability and action steps co-designed by the coach and the client.
The coach assumes that the client is well-functioning and is facing a roadblock or finding it difficult to get over the next mountain to greater fulfillment. People turn to coaches when their life is going well. Usually they are high-functioning people who want to expand their lives, their businesses, and their general outlook. They tend to be successful people who have a vision that they could go beyond where they are, but feel that they would like someone to work with them to achieve their goals.
These are the same people who would seek a coach to improve their golf or tennis game, seek consultation in their business, or utilize a financial planner to assist with their finances. They seek a coach to accelerate their growth or maximize an opportunity. Some people choose a coach to help in the short-term for a specific task or project, while others engage a coach to restructure their life.
