Youth Suicide Prevention (YSP) project by Global Human Rights People and the Urban Men, Inc. is focused on spreading the word, creating awareness and providing support information to all youth to help[ them understand bullying and why it is wrong. We aim to create awareness about acceptance and co-existence and providing reference to various resources from where today’s youth can seek assistance and support.

On an average 90% Homosexual youth are bullied during their school life

Suicide rates are high amongst bullied teenagers

Homosexual Teenagers committing suicide is four times higher than a Heterosexual Teen

An alarmingly high percentage of Teenagers go through depression related illnesses

This rate is even higher in homosexual teens due to confusing messages of society

3 out of every 5 Homosexuals do not come Out to their families as late as until their late 30s to early 40s
